Born a Gator in 1964, Mark lived on the University of Florida Campus until he was 4 years old (when his family moved to Orlando). Mark returned to his roots in Gainesville to attend UF where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 1994 and was recognized as an outstanding scholar with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. He then attended UF's Levin College of Law where he and was admitted to the Florida BAR in 1998. Mark's unwavering desire to help people is what drove him to become an attorney. He opened his practice in Trenton 20 years ago and has been helping the community (and beyond) ever since. He has previously served as Chamber of Commerce President, Trenton Rotary Club President, and is involved with the Gilchrist Education Foundation, among other community organizations. Mark is a member of Destiny Community Church, and he and his wife Natalie have four children and several fur babies. Mark enjoys spending time with family and friends and can usually be found on the water.

Laura is originally from Miami and moved to Chiefland with her family in 2007. In 2001 she received her Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Florida International University, and has been in the legal field for over 20 years. Laura is a member of Destiny Community Church and she and her husband Richard have 3 children and several fur babies. In her free time she enjoys volunteering, baking, the ocean and spending quality time with family and friends.
